About me

I am a fully qualified female fitness coach specialising in strength and conditioning (S&C). I run 1-1, small group training sessions and women’s lifting classes out of 5S fitness in Macclesfield.

Before becoming a personal trainer I completed my degree in Sport and Exercise science (BSc Hons) at Sheffield Hallam university where I had the opportunity to work with some of the varsity sports teams and was able to specialise further in S&C in my final year.

As a coach I really enjoy helping my clients achieve their goals, but the best part is watching them fall in love with the process. I have all different types of clients from those competing in sporting events to those just wanting to feel fitter and stronger.

When I’m not training my clients, I train myself - I take part in powerlifting competitions, play rugby and love to get out on my mountain bike as often as I can. 

I’m particularly interested in getting more women into lifting, so they can experience how good it feels to be stronger, not just physically but mentally too. This is why I run women’s lifting classes where ladies from all different ages and backgrounds can get together and motivate each other to get stronger.
