With just under a month until summer now if the perfect time to get into a routine and stay motivated! Here’s a few tips to get you started:
Set clear and achievable goals:
Establish why you want to get fit and what you plan to achieve
Set small goals that reach towards a bigger goal to help track progress and keep you focused
Create a plan:
Schedule your workouts for the week to keep consistency around work and life plans
Change up your training to keep things interesting
Make sure to have a mix or strength and cardio workouts
Find things you enjoy:
Since the weather is warmer and the days are longer why not embrace more outdoor activities like walking and cycling
Try out a sports club or new exercise classes to make it more social
Focus on Nutrition:
Ensure you are eating a well balanced diet to fuel yourself for the extra exercise
Drink plenty of water
Rest and Recover:
Aim for around 7-9 hours sleep per night
Allow your body to recover by including rest days to prevent injuries
