Strength training for beginners

Are you interested in starting your fitness journey but not sure how to get started with strength training? Starting a strength training program is an excellent way to improve your overall fitness, increase muscle mass, and boost your metabolism.

Here are a few tips on where to start:

Set yourself some goals-

  • Could be building muscle, improving overall fitness, or more specific goals like training for an event/ increasing weight you can lift.

Learn Proper Form-

  • Getting yourself a trainer or attending a class is a great way to learn how to lift safely to prevent injuries and get the most out of your exercises.

Consistency is Key-

  • Try to aim for a regular routine of at least 2-3 times a week. Around 30-60 minutes is enough to start seeing some changes.

Proper Nutrition-

  • Eat a balanced diet with enough protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats to support muscle growth and recovery.
